The project team will soon be growing. We expect two post-doctoral researchers to start in the spring of 2026. Both will conduct ethnographic fieldwork, respectively in Catalonia and Kurdistan.

They will be joined by a third post-doctoral researcher, who will focus on political aesthetics with a focus on Kurdistan and Sri Lanka. This person is expected to start in fall 2026.

Finally, in the summer of 2027, the final two post-doctoral researchers will complete the team. One will be responsible for the study of popular perceptions of the repertoires we have detected, using focus group discussion. The other will be responsible for developing a database of separatist democratic repertoires across the globe.
